Sarah Sharaf-Eldien
is an Egyptian-American photographer who has worked closely with some of the most sought-after musicians of our time.
She began her career producing fashion photo shoots at a premier studio in Sydney, Australia, and transitioned into the world of music photography while shooting for legendary Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood on the island of Maui, Hawai’i.
While working in Maui, she met and photographed perhaps the most iconic rock music photographer in history, Henry Diltz, at The Morrison Hotel Gallery, influencing her perception of photography as an art of storytelling.
In each photograph she artistically conveys symbolic details about her subjects—hints about their character, the work they do, or the world they inhabit.
Her vivid images of musicians and celebrities to entrepreneurs and everyday people capture intimate soulful moments that reveal the subtle genuine beauty within.
Embracing the beauty of our shared humanity, her work aims to portray universal truths about our collective experience, inviting viewers to reflect on the depth of human expression, emotion, identity, and stories.
